Experienced Care · Honest Guidance

Meaningful second careers for meaningful horses.

We rehabilitate retired racehorses, learn who each one truly is, and guide them into the homes and disciplines where they can thrive. No horse is forced into a predetermined role.

What We Do

A horse-first approach to retirement

Every Thoroughbred who comes through our program is given time, veterinary attention, and an honest assessment. From there, we match horse and human carefully, not quickly.

R

Rehabilitation

Letdown from track life, full veterinary workups, farrier care, and the patient time off needed for body and mind to settle.

T

Retraining

Foundational work under saddle and on the ground. We assess aptitude across disciplines so each horse is matched to a career that fits.

M

Matching

Careful placement with adopters whose experience, goals, and resources align with the individual horse, supported by lifetime follow-up.

How Adoption Works

Four steps from interest to home

Apply

Tell us about your experience, your facility, and the kind of partnership you’re looking for. Our application takes about 20 minutes.

Visit

By appointment, meet the horses on our short list. Bring your trainer. Take your time.

Trial

For most matches we offer a trial period so the horse can settle and you can confirm fit before formal transfer.

Transfer

We finalize the adoption with a clear written contract and stay available for guidance for the life of the horse.

Support the Work

Every horse needs a runway.

Hay, grain, vet care, farrier visits, training time. Your gift is what lets us take the time each horse actually needs, instead of rushing the match.
